“For The Love of Wesley” Fundraiser Dinner for UNM/CNM Wesley Missions activities Saturday, February 16 5:00 – 8:00 pm St. John’s UMC, 2626 Arizona Ave. NE, Albuquerque
You are most cordially invited to participate in this great night of dinner, fellowship, live and silent auction and fun! Randy Gleason, from our Conference Methodist Foundation, Inc., will ‘auctioneer’ the live auction, which includes treasures such as a Basketball autographed by the present Lobo Men’s basketball team, and a southwest watercolor painting by local artist Debi Partridge.
The Wesley Foundation students at UNM and CNM will be taking a mission trip during Spring Break to the New Orleans area to continue the work on reconstruction projects that are still so essential in that area. They will be doing work through the Epworth Project associated with the Slidell United Methodist Church. This is a reconstruction ministry that has been working with those who lost their houses ever since Katrina. The students are already eagerly anticipating the trip and the work to help the people of the New Orleans area.
Any and all donations to help fund the trip will be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions about this, please contact Rodney Noel Saunders at ">, or call 505-323-1251, or you can check the www.epworthproject.com website for more info, as well. Thank you for your consideration, your time, and your support. |

Our next Concert: April 7 - Stephanie Bettman and Luke Halpin An afternoon of uplifiting and original folk/Americana/bluegrass, featuring irresistible lyrics, transcendent harmonies and roof-raising instrumentals! Their music creates a fully acoustic, delightfully eclectic sound far greater than the sum of its parts: taking the listener from up-tempo down home fiddlin', to soulful sorrowful ballads, to super hooky folk/pop with catchy melodies and lyrics that will stick with you long after the concert is over. |
