RE: Reimbursement Voucher Procedures
The Conference Office is requesting that for reimbursement vouchers, they be accompanied by a receipt for each listed item, including meals.
This will bring us into alignment with procedures used by the Council of Bishops and the business world at large. It will also help to reduce unwarranted claims that are growing in number due to taking advantage of a voucher ‘loop-hole.’
The goal is not more paperwork nor onerous rules, but solid and consistent stewardship of faithful contributions by our members. Especially in these tight economic times, it is crucial to keep tight management of expenses.
