All trips organized as Volunteers in Mission trips are open to conference-wide participation. We strive to keep the list of opportunities and contacts on these pages current and informational.

GENERAL ONGOING NEEDS IN OUR CONFERENCE FOR WORK PROJECTS:

 

Sacramento Methodist Assembly (Camp) in Sacramento NM

In need of volunteers to help in restoration of forest trails, general forest rehabilitation, light construction work, landscape work, assisting in operations and food service. Teams are bunked in dorms and meals are provided. Cost is $25/day for lodging and meals; help is needed year-round!

Casa Esperanza, Albuquerque NM

Provides home away from home for out-of-town cancer patients and family members while patient undergoes treatment. Needs are for general maintenance, painting, yardwork, window washing, reorganization of storage units, etc. Stay onsite, or at local hotels or area churches.

Four Corners Native American Ministry

Welcoming individuals and groups (older youth, multi-generational and adult groups) to help with VBS, home repairs and church repairs/construction on needs of 26 Navajo churches, 2 thrift shops, a daycare and a leadership training center.  Facilities and costs vary depending upon site and activity.  Contact Rev. McCurdy School, Espanola

Grand River Station of Louisiana Disaster Response

Needs volunteer teams to help with rebuilding of homes damaged by the last two hurricanes.
