Conference Structure

The New Mexico Annual Conference has transitioned to a new structure.

The Annual Conference meets annually to conduct business of the Conference and celebrate the various ministries of the Conference.

The Conference Ministry Team is charged to coordinate and facilitate the administrative and programmatic life of the annual conference. The team includes the presiding Bishop, District superintendents, Conference lay leader, Dstrict lay leaders, Director of Mission and Administration, Communications Director and the E-Ministries Team chairpersons.

Three teams are organized to guide ministries of the Conference.

• Envisioning Ministry Team
• Engaging Ministries Team
• Equipping Ministries Team

Ministries of the Conference are related to one of the three E-Ministry Teams. The teams meet regularly and are charged with guiding and assisting the related ministries by providing resources, finances and input as needed. The E-Ministries Teams relate to the Conference Ministry Team.
