Help for People of Ruidoso

Bishop Max has issued a call to all local churches to respond to the horrific Little Bear fire in the Ruidoso area with special offerings which will help in providing needed assistance to folks in that area. Until the fire is contained to the extent that we know more specific information of needs, your financial offerings are the best way to show support for victims. Please, continue fervent prayers for safety of the thousands of firefighters working to stop the expanding fire area, for comfort and care of the many displaced families in local shelters, and for Community UMC and the Rev. Stephanie Harmon who are in the midst of the chaos and in need of our prayerful and sustaining energy.
