Welcome to the Web Site of the New Mexico Conference of The United Methodist Church !  The New Mexico Conference encompasses all the State of New Mexico and a significant portion of Southwest Texas .  The mission of the Conference is to engage, equip and empower every local church in their mission to develop dynamic disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  A small number of dedicated staff members and a voluminous number of energetic, capable volunteers carry out the Conference’s mission.  The presence and power of Jesus Christ is self evident in numerous congregations as they equip and empower followers of Jesus Christ to invite pre-Christian people to join them in being transformed and transforming the world in which we live.  

            God provides us with vast geography, unsurpassed beauty, and a diverse population that is warm, friendly, and laid-back in style.  All of these factors make the New Mexico Conference an exquisite covenant community where disciples are developed, nurtured, and sent forth in faithful service to transform the world.
