September’s Pastors in Pews Podcast will feature the Clovis DS, Ernie Vineyard.  We’re especially interested in having him share his experiences working with rural churches.  Podcast Producer, Alli Newsom and Host, Rev. Dr. Scott Sharp have been trying to get Ernie on the podcast for years.

Lifting up the rural churches in our Conference is a prime focus.  We hope to gain some clarity around what rural churches actually need vs. assuming we know.  The United Methodist Church in small towns have long been a center piece of ministry and social gatherings.  We’re sure that Ernie will provide context and excellent conversation around the topic.   The planned posting date is Sept. 20th.
