The intention of this webpage is to provide information on how we can help people in need as well as share content on a broader scale. For example, there are many of our churches that have been addressing the food insecurity issues in their communities and they will continue to generously do so. The list is in the right column. Our prayer is that the government shutdown ends, people go back to work, and SNAP benefits are reinstated. The reality is that there will always be hungry people, hungry children and we're called by Jesus to do as much as we can.
NM Conference Food Pantries
Northern New Mexico
McCurdy Ministries Community Center – Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
FUMC-Los Alamos: Food pantry open 24 hours daily.
FUMC-Raton: Friday after the fourth Thursday. Drop-in pantry during office hours – Monday through Friday, 9 am – 1 pm.
El Pueblito – Shared Table: Second & fourth Wednesday of every month. 8:30 – 11:30 at El Pueblito and 2-3:00 pm at Talpa Community Center
FUMC-Las Vegas: Hot meal Thursday at noon until 12:30. Groceries also available.
Bloomfield UMC: Monday – Thursday, 10 am -12 pm
Central New Mexico
High Desert UMC: First Friday of the month, third Tuesday of the month from 9-12, fourth Thursday of the month from 1-4:00 pm. Dog food pantry. NM Kids – food for school children on the weekends.
St Paul's ABQ: Food pantry third Saturday of the month, 8:00 am until boxes are gone. Marketplace available for shopping.
St John’s UMC-ABQ: Third Saturday of the month starting at 9 am (or when Road Runner food truck arrives.)
Christ UMC-ABQ: First Tuesday of the month – 12:30 – 1:30 pm
Grace UMC-ABQ: Food pantry either Thursday or Saturday mornings, 9 am – 12 pm

Morning Star UMC – Las Cruces: First & third Tuesday of the month from 9 – 11:00 am.
University UMC – Las Cruces: God's Pantry - first and third Friday of the month.
UMC-Carlsbad distributes sack lunches after church on Sundays – 11:45. Potluck second Sunday
Western Hills UMC-El Paso: Applied for a grant to offer food pantry. Stay tuned
St. Paul's UMC-El Paso: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. Grab and go non-perishable food pantry
St. Mark's UMC-EL Paso: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. Grab and go pantry
