We have several events and activities planned to help make your time at Annual Conference 2025 more enjoyable and fulfilling.

Worship: Bishop Carlo will be preaching at Opening Worship on Thursday afternoon. Bishop Dee Williamston will preach at the Ordination Service on Friday night.  Each day will begin with a devotional.

Storytelling Event: On the first night of annual conference, we usually have our social event.  This year, in addition to a delicious dinner and an ice cream social sponsored by the United Women in Faith, we'll host a storytelling event along the lines of The Moth.  We encourage you to think of a 5-minute story that you can share with the group.  To be clear, this isn't along the lines of a testimonial, although it can be about some aspect of your faith or your church.  The best stories are those that include some sort of change that occurred or a reflection as a result of something that happened. As in The Moth, speakers will be timed to a hard 5-minute limit.  If you have questions, please contact Alli Newsom, Communications Director at alli@nmconfum.com.

Interactive Storytelling Work: During two of our Business Sessions, we'll be discussing how to better tell our stories and in some ways, more importantly, listening to the stories of those around us.

Retirement Luncheon: This year our Retirees are: Rev. Lourdes Calderon, Rev. Russ Hall, Rev. Greg Kennedy, Rev. George Miller, & Rev. Glenn Thyrion.  In the registration platform, you'll need to register to attend the Retirement Luncheon.

Photos:  If all goes as planned, we're hoping to have a photo booth for headshots and fun group pics.  More info to come.
